Ryan grew up in West Tennessee and started cutting his teeth musically when he was 7. Dragging his first kit home from a yard sale in a little red "radio flyer" wagon, and eventually playing venues/clubs all over the US, opening for many national acts and extensive recording sessions/record showcases and filling in with various artists/musicians.
